Remember the Forbidden Glizzy, the viral Costco food court hack from earlier this year? If it’s not ringing a bell, I’ll bring you up to speed. To secure your very own Forbidden Glizzy, you order a chicken bake—basically a rolled pizza dough that’s stuffed with a caesar salad—plus a hot dog without a bun at the Costco food court. Then, you bite the ends off the chicken bake and stuff the hot dog inside. Yum, I guess?
Surprising to exactly no one, TikTok-ers have found another equally, um, interesting hack called a Jochizza—a spin on the Forbidden Glizzy that involves the Costco chicken bake, along with a few other choice ingredients. I’m sorry in advance.
How to Make a Costco Jochizza
To make a Jochizza, you’ll need to get inside a Costco with your own membership or someone else’s. Then make your way to the food court—it’s usually right at the front, by the checkout—and make sure you’re really hungry.
Now, it’s time to order your ingredients. First, you’ll want to order a hot dog and slice of cheese pizza. You’ll also need a chicken bake, the rolled pizza dough roll that’s stuffed with chicken, bacon, cheese, and Caesar dressing. (Word to the wise: Order a water or another drink to wash down the Jochizza. You may need it.)
In your makeshift kitchen—aka your Costco table—use a knife to slice open the chicken bake roll as you would a hot dog bun, and place the hot dog inside. Take the cheese off the slice of pizza and top the hot dog with it. You can also wrap the hot dog with the pizza cheese, as one commenter wisely suggests.
If you’re feeling creative, it’s time to add some condiments of your choice to your Jochizza. In the video, TikTokker @eatitkatie tops hers with diced onions that she brought to the store, plus Costco’s relish, ketchup, and mustard—so it’s kind of like a really cheesy hot dog with extra-premium fixings. “This has everything you want,” she said after trying the first bite of her creation. “This is the best Costco menu item.”
It’s up to you what to do with the pizza crust and hot dog bun—eat ‘em yourself if you still have room, save them for later, etc. Either way: It’s probably a good thing you’re in a giant warehouse, because you may feel the urgent need to walk off that super-filling meal you just ate.
